It is with great pleasure, that we announce the NEW addition to Rumba
Entertainment of Orquesta Tahone with lead singer, from Puerto Rico,
Ommy
Cardona "El Sonero del Rumbero"
Orquesta Tahone compossed of 12 of LA's best
Latin musicians with an amazing horn & percussion sections. It promises to
be one of the nation's best, with fresh original songs coming out regularly of
varied styles and subjects done in the high energy voice of Ommy Cardona with
hand-picked exceptional back up singers.
The band will feature well known
guest singers.
Arrangements are being done with you... the dancers taste in
mind. We will not settle for anything less than exceptional arrangements, and a
great overall finished product.
As a consumer of this genre of music. I will
not accept anything but the best.
That's my promise to you!
A complete
Salsa CD is due out this summer. Two of our already released songs will be part
of that Cd. "Orgullo Latino", our first song with it's deep culturally Latino
message (and part of our history) has gained wide acceptance by the national and
international Salsa record pools, and entertainment media.
Orgullo Latino got
Ommy Cardona on WAPA America TV in Puerto Rico, Univision TV, numerous
interviews on Radio in Florida, Puerto Rico, and Los Angeles.
Orgullo Latino
got extensive play at the Chicago Salsa Congress from Feb 11 to Feb
14th.
Orgullo Latino has also been nominated for an award by the Salsa Music
Awards coming the end of summer this year.
Our second song, "Siempre te
Amare" just like "Orgullo Latino" written by me, is a piece done ala Victor
Manuelle style, also getting much attention. It has all the ingredients to be a
hit. But, that's determined by you, the consumer. So I hope you support our
efforts of bringing you something new,and fresh. I hope you like
them.
